There are several Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) and Laminar Flow Hoods (LFHs) within the School of Engineering that individuals can conduct sensitive biological work in. These are located as follows:
Biological Safety Cabinets

- EME 1216
- EME 0207A
These are maintained by Environment, Health & Safety as well as individual research groups. If you wish to conduct experiments in these, please reach out to hse.ok@ubc.ca who can facilitate their use.
After the work is completed, these BSCs and LFHs must be left in the same or a better state than when the user entered them.
